Greek 'visa at the door' makes it easier for Turks to enter EU islands

Launched in 2024, the visa-on-arrival program covers 12 Greek islands in the Aegean Sea. In 2025, almost 1.5 million Turks visited Greece, compared to 1.2 million a year earlier.
